| In 2009 the Heritage Center acquired an historic AME church from here in Blount County. The structure, which seats 50-70, was moved to the Center in 2010 and will be available for special events, including weddings, renewal of vows, celebration of life services, harp singings and more.

The porch at Montvale Station (above left) is available for porch weddings, as is the porch at Cardwell Cabin, below right. The porches provide a unique setting for small weddings, and the cabin interiors provide an excellent site for birthday parties or small group luncheons or dinners, with an historic theme.
