| In 2009 the Heritage Center acquired an historic AME church from here in Blount County. The structure, which seats 50-70, was moved to the Center in 2010 and will be available for special events, including weddings, renewal of vows, celebration of life services, harp singings and more. |

The porch at Montvale Station (above left) is available for porch weddings, as is the porch at Cardwell Cabin, below right. The porches provide a unique setting for small weddings, and the cabin interiors provide an excellent site for birthday parties or small group luncheons or dinners, with an historic theme. |
